Happening kind of place, very busy, but they got to us in good time. Food was good, so was the service. I'd go back if I found myself in the area.

On a trip to bike the Rio Grand we stopped for breakfast. We loved the tables outside. The setting was beautiful and the food excellent. We did a repeat visit and definitely our favorite Carbondale restaurant.
Let me start off by saying I want to love the Smithy. Been here about 4 times in the last 9 months. First 2 trips in spring we're five star quality, last couple of times have been disappointing. Hurried tasting food, lost its home cooked quality taste. Will still make the trip in if in the area.
